Police in India say Plural Assailant wasn’t part of a Conspiracy — January 2019

Last October, accused plural assailant J Srinivasa Rao has been charged in an attack on YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in India.

According to Press Trust of India (Firstpost, India) and after investigation, the police have determined that Rao& had not conspired with anyone (external) regarding the attack, however as the attack was planned this does still leave open the question of whether it was an internal conspiracy or a lone actor within their plural system.

Police have gathered evidence that Rao& planned the attack for 40 days, wrote a long letter with a friend’s help appending a final page on the last day, and reportedly had told a close friend they were seeking fame. Rao& is in custody.
